"This place is amazing and a must see for anyone passing through. While the sugar house tour is fun and informative, the real treat lies in the maple flavored food. The chili, maple hot dogs and maple creemee were some of our favorites. Even those in our group that weren't huge maple fans liked the lunch and treats at April's."

"I stopped here on the last day of my trip to pick up some gifts and I'm disappointed I didn't stop in sooner! The staff here was incredibly friendly and they have a large selection of Maple products (maple candy, pancake mix, cotton candy, syrup, etc). They also have a small cafe where they serve a variety of sandwiches. Highly recommend!!"

"Every now and then you find a hidden gem. The food choices are limited but there is something for everyone. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with a side of coleslaw. It was full of flavor, delicious and satisfying. The Iced Maple Coffee cooled my inside and quenched my maple thirst. The real treat was the finally. April told me that it was not for the faint of heart! She was absolutely right!"

"April's Maple is staffed by friendly folks who have had the land in their family for generations. Prices are reasonable for gifts here compared with other tourist areas of the state and it's always more fun to get your syrup straight from the source. Food in the little restaurant is solid and affordable as well. A real authentic place and worth a stop!"

"The wind chill was -35, so instead of snowmobiling we took a drive to explore north country. We stumbled across April's Maples and are so happy we stopped! Not only can you sample and learn about the different grades of syrup, they offer lunch and treats, too. We sat by the warmth of a wood stove looking outdoors at the falling snow. Will definitely go back and bring along friends and family."

"I stopped by with my sister and cousin to take a tour of the maple syrup making and to buy some syrup. It was really interesting to hear about their family operation and to taste various products. I also had a maple simmered hot dog and a scoop of delicious ice cream. Their business is award-winning and is certified organic. Trying maple cotton candy and various grades of syrup was fun!"

"We happened upon this sugarhouse/restaurant during sugaring season in the spring. I only had a maple creemie (soft-serve ice cream cone) but it was so incredible, I had to rave. To make this superb confection, first, the cone is dipped in maple cream (a soft precursor to fudge), then in broken bits of maple candy, then bring on the maple soft-serve ice cream. Best ice cream cone of any kind EVER!"

"Pure Deliciousness! Do not miss stopping by April's Maple. It has a gorgeous building, amazing all natural products from their own maple trees, and depending on the season they serve ice cream too! Try a sample of the different Grade A syrups. Don't leave without a great gift for someone special. And to top it off, you are supporting a local family business!"
